The Xbox Series S is a mini beast of a machine and the all digital nature makes it the perfect box to take with you on your travels. When traveling though you can’t be guaranteed that any screen available will have the perfect input for your device.

Enter the Australian designed xScreen, a portable screen that connects directly to the inputs of the Series S, giving gamers somewhere to play whenever there’s no free screen.

The screen has been designed by two Australian brothers who’s idea came from meeting a family need of gaming in a household that lacked the necessary screens for separate consoles. From what we can see, it does exactly that and more as all gamers will need for this portable Xbox gaming is:

• The Xbox Series S
• The Xbox Series S power cord and
• An xScreen.

The screen measures in at 295 x 191 x 73mm and 695 grams and brings with it the ability to output 1080p at 60fps. It also offers unimpeded access to the storage expansion and power ports and folds up into a need form factor that resembles a laptop.

It is current it it’s initial Kickstarter phase and open for those looking to get in early on the ground. Those keen on the portable solution are encouraged to have a look at the information and give it some consideration.

NOTE: The xScreen is currently in its Kickstarter phase and, although a working prototype has been created and the creator will do anything to mitigate any identified risk,  it does come with the following disclaimer:
