Review – WWE 2K22
For the first time since 2000, 2021 saw no release of a WWE title. Following a lacklustre and broken release with WWE 2K20 theinevitable next entry was delayed to completely rebuild the gameplay engine, implement a new control system and significantly improve the visuals. The extra time and polish havepaid off with the impressive WWE 2K22. Arriving less than three weeks from WWE’s flagship event, WrestleMania, the timing couldn’t be better for the WWE Universe and its players to unleash chaos in the squared circle with a smoother, more satisfying experience.

Review – Elden Ring
YOU DIED. These two words in Elden Ring, like the other titles from developer FromSoftware, are not a prediction, they are a spoiler. Death in Elden Ring isn’t necessarily failure but rather a learning tool, a means to taking additional time to further understand the intricacies of the complex combat mechanics that are required to not only survive but to complete the story.

Review – Shadow Warrior 3
Devolver Digital rarely miss when it comes to publishing a good videogame and the streak looks set to continue with Flying Wild Hog’s Shadow Warrior 3. Set some time after the events of Shadow Warrior 2, our protagonist, Lo Wang, accepts the responsibility of destroying an enormous dragon that has been slowly destroying all remnants of Earth. Shadow Warrior 3 focuses strongly towards its gameplay and does not pretend to be anything other than a fast-paced, gruesome and action-packed first-person shooter.

Review – GRID Legends
The fifth instalment of the Grid Racing franchise – GRID Legends is the latest from developers Codemasters and the first published by Electronic Arts. The original game Race Driver: GRID came out in 2008, followed by GRID 2 in 2013, GRID Autosport in 2014 and GRID in 2019. With the DNA of classics like Colin McRae: DIRT, 1 million people downloaded the Race Driver: GRID demo, so now how has GRID Legends grown?
