Bit of a slow news day today but we have free DLC for Dark Alliance, a Flight Simulator Game of the Year Edition, Warner Bro’s MultiVersus announcement, a new Supercross game and more.
MultiVersus
MultiVersus is the upcoming free-to-play platform fighter which brings some of your favourite characters together and is set to launch sometime in 2022.
“MultiVersus will showcase a variety of beloved heroes and personalities to team up with or compete against in epic battles, including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn (DC Super Heroes & DC Super-Villains); Shaggy (Scooby-Doo); Bugs Bunny (Looney Tunes); Arya Stark (Game of Thrones); Tom and Jerry (Tom and Jerry); Jake the Dog and Finn the Human (Adventure Time); Steven Universe and Garnet (Steven Universe); an extraordinary original creature named Reindog; and many more to come.
Featuring matches with a strong emphasis on online cooperative gameplay, every fighter will be outfitted with a deep set of combat mechanics that distinguish the game’s fresh take on 2 vs. 2 gameplay. This allows combatants to boast customisable movesets that combine dynamically with other characters as they battle for supremacy. From Wonder Woman and her Lasso of Truth attack being unexpectedly paired with Shaggy and his sandwich projectile, to Arya Stark’s face-swapping ability being used to complement Superman’s laser vision, the impossible can become possible through surprising team combinations and matchups. The game’s fun filled multiplayer bouts can be set against the backdrop of various reimagined environments from awe-inspiring worlds, such as Batman’s Batcave, Jake and Finn’s Tree Fort and many others. MultiVersus will also include intense 1 vs. 1 clashes and a 4-player free-for-all mode where only one fighter can come out on top.”

Microsoft Flight Simulator Game of the Year Edition
Microsoft Flight Simulator Game of the Year Edition is available now.

Dark Alliance DLC
Dark Alliance has received free DLC today to help you continue your journey.
The free DLC brings new map The Crystal Wraiths, which contains three acts to complete with new cinematics, new lore items, new bosses and a new in-game trophy to earn.

Ubisoft and Ecologi Plant a Tree
Today Ubisoft have made an announcement that sees in-game actions supporting the environment through their partnership with Ecologi on a Plant a Tree initiative which sees players get involved in a reforestation initiative by planting a tree in-game, starting today until December 20.
“Players who complete reforestation-themed riddles on the Ghost Recon Breakpoint website will uncover a location on Auroa where a tree can be planted in-game. The tree will grow, and players will earn a themed gear patch and “Gardener” title. The planted tree and rewards will remain in the game permanently, even after the event ends.
Players will also be able to purchase a limited edition cosmetic ghillie suit, Snow Woods Ghillie Bundle, which includes a hood, top and pants, in the in-game store. For each Snow Woods Ghillie Bundle purchase, 5€ will be given to Ecologi, with no upper limit.”

Monster Energy Supercross 5
The 17th March 2022 will see Monster Energy Supercross 5 make its way to gamers.

The Track Editor is also back with the classic experience of track creation, along with a new feature: Rhythm Section Editor. Players will be able to mix and match pre-existing modules to design complex prefab track sections, then be able to share them with the community.
And after the amazing success of the past edition, The Track Editor Contest will be back, and another player will have the opportunity to create a track and enter the contest directly in the game. Users will have the chance to see their creation replicated in real life and being part of the Official 2022 Championship. This unique feature represents a once-in-a-lifetime-opportunity in the videogame industry: a digital track designed by a player will be raced by real riders in the 2022 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship.
What about racing with friends or solo in a new, stunning, open world environment? Compound is the answer, featuring new tracks, several cross challenges and collectibles to unlock additional gears.
Online Multiplayer for the first time features cross-gen matchmaking and brings the challenge to the world scale. Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 5 also features the split-screen mode, to play with friends directly on the couch!
