OMG Deals of the Week

The OMG Deals of the Week are back, each week we are going to put together the top three deals for each platform as found on Deku Deals.

This week we have a mix of Lego titles on Xbox that are great for the kids, for the older kids and the parents we have the South Park titles on Playstation and to celebrate the starting of the Australian Open over on the Switch we have AO Tennis as well as Monster Kid and the always enjoyable Untitled Goose Game.

Lego DC Super-Villains is a Lego-themed action-adventure platform video game developed by Traveller’s Tales. The fourth instalment in the Lego Batman series of games, it is a spin-off that focuses entirely on villains of the DC Universe; being the first in the series to do so since the villain levels from Lego Batman: The Videogame. The game was released by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment on 16 October 2018 in North America and 19th October worldwide.

While the core gameplay follows the same style of past Lego titles, including the addition of a two-player cooperative multiplayer mode, DC Super-Villains is the first title to incorporate a customized character into the story. The plot centres around the villains of the DC Universe who, in the aftermath of the Justice League’s disappearance, reluctantly take on the role of the Earth’s protectors and must defeat a rival group of supervillains from another universe, who are masquerading as heroes while searching for a powerful item for their master

Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 is a Lego-themed action-adventure video game developed by Traveller’s Tales and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One on 14 November 2017, It is the sequel to 2013’s Lego Marvel Super Heroes and the third instalment of the Lego Marvel franchise.

With the core gameplay following the same style of past Lego titles, the game features the ability to manipulate time and a four-player competitive Super Hero battle mode. Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2’s storyline centres around superheroes from different eras and realities of the Marvel Universe as they fight against the time-travelling villain Kang the Conqueror in a battle across space and time.

The Lego Ninjago Movie Video Game is a Lego-themed action-adventure video game developed by TT Fusion and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Based on The Lego Ninjago Movie, it was released for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, alongside the film, in North America on 22 September 2017, and worldwide on 20 October 2017. It serves as the second spin-off video game and the third game in The Lego Movie franchise.

Sonic Mania is a 2017 platform game published by Sega for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows. Produced in commemoration of the Sonic the Hedgehog series’ 25th anniversary, Sonic Mania pays homage to the original Sega Genesis Sonic games, featuring speedy side-scrolling gameplay. It takes place over 12 levels, including several redesigned from past games. The story follows Sonic, Tails and Knuckles as they venture to defeat their nemesis Doctor Eggman and his robotic henchmen, the Hard-Boiled Heavies.

South Park: The Fractured but Whole is a 2017 role-playing video game developed by Ubisoft San Francisco and published by Ubisoft in collaboration with South Park Digital Studios. Based on the American adult animated television series South Park, it is the sequel to the 2014 video game South Park: The Stick of Truth. The game’s narrative occurs one day after the events of its predecessor; it follows the New Kid, who has recently moved to South Park and becomes involved in an epic roleplay involving two rival superhero factions vying to create their own superhero media franchises. The superheroes’ game unintentionally uncovers a conspiracy to raise crime in the town, bringing them into conflict with supervillains, genetically engineered monsters, the police, crime families, and the new kingpin of crime.

South Park: The Stick of Truth is a 2014 role-playing video game developed by Obsidian Entertainment in collaboration with South Park Digital Studios and published by Ubisoft. Based on the American adult animated television series South Park, the game follows the New Kid, who has moved to the eponymous town and becomes involved in an epic role-play fantasy war involving humans, wizards, and elves, who are fighting for control of the all-powerful Stick of Truth. Their game quickly escalates out of control, bringing them into conflict with aliens, Nazi zombies, and gnomes, threatening the entire town with destruction.

AO Tennis 2 game features multiple types of tennis matches. The re-designed career mode features a new managing system. Players have to earn money and experience that can be used to boost players’ skills and stats. The higher level is, the better form would like to perform.[2] While performance on the court is important, how to deal with press conferences, how to maintain a good relationship with your team would also be critical for players’ reputations and decide the quality of sponsors that players can pick up.

In addition to the solo game, the game introduces a multiplayer mode that offers up to four local players competing head-to-head. A cooperation mode is also available so that players can team up in doubles online.[4] Like its predecessor AO Tennis, all custom players and venues sharing with the community are downloadable for the game.

A boy named Jin discovers his Uncle Nabu using magic to spread chaos across the kingdom, turning everyone, including his brother Zeke, into animals. While trying to stop Nabu, Jin gets turned into a pig. Learning from the king’s court magician, Mysticat, about a way to return everyone to normal, Jin goes on a quest to recover five animal orbs from across the kingdom. Upon doing so, however, Mysticat takes the orbs from Jin and uses them to open the gateway to the Dark Realm for his master Lord Xaros, who had been manipulating Nabu to do his bidding. Venturing into the Dark Realm, Jin confronts Xaros and, with the help of his friends and the spirits of past Wonder Boys, manages to defeat him, restoring the kingdom to normal.

Untitled Goose Game is a 2019 puzzle stealth game developed by House House and published by Panic. Players control a goose who bothers the inhabitants of an English village. The player must use the goose’s abilities to manipulate objects and non-player characters to complete objectives. It was released for Microsoft Windows, macOS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
