Xbox Acquires Activision / Blizzard for about 70 billion dollars
Microsoft to acquire Activision Blizzard for close to $70 billion US.
So many big titles and big developers to fall under the Xbox banner.
Plus, the article talks Xbox Game Pass subscriber numbers which sit at 25 million.

Xbox to Honour COD and PS Agreements
Xbox will honour all agreements and Call of Duty to stay on PlayStation. But only time will tell if that is all content or maybe just the Warzone content.
Had good calls this week with leaders at Sony. I confirmed our intent to honor all existing agreements upon acquisition of Activision Blizzard and our desire to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation. Sony is an important part of our industry, and we value our relationship.

Coming Soon To Game Pass
Xbox have today announced, amongst other big news, the latest round of games to come to the Xbox Game Pass service. There are more massive day one releases coming to the service and this is no exception.

Rainbow Six Extraction Buddy Pass Update
The Rainbow Six Extraction team have provided an update on the Buddy Pass coming to the game and have advised that it won’t be available on launch, but soon after launch to ensure a smooth rollout of the game.
With the game coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one it won’t be as big of an issue, but the buddy pass is coming for those that don’t own the game.

Review-Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Extraction
In Rainbow Six: Extraction, Ubisoft Montreal has brought us another entry to the Tom Clancy franchise but this time with an alien twist. From the opening scene, it is evident that this entry is not your average Rainbow Six game that Ubisoft Montreal has taken down a new path.

The Anacrusis – Xbox Game Preview Review
The Anacrusis is a team based first person survival shooter that puts players into a team of four travelling through an enormous stranded starship while battling through waves of alien hordes. This cooperative adventure has the hallmarks of Valve’s Left 4 Dead, and this is due to developer Stray Bombay’s Chet Faliszek, who previously worked on the Left 4 Dead games. While the Anacrusis is only in Game Preview, it does offer the first three of five chapters, a survival mode and launched on Xbox and PC Game Pass on day one.

Review – Blackwind
Trapped inside a powerful Battle Frame prototype, teenage James Hawkins embarks on a dangerous quest to find his father while learning the capabilities of the mech he now controls and utilising them effectively to overcome the alien forces that stand in his way. Combining elements of hack and slash and platforming, Blackwind’s campaign takes players through several interior and exterior locations teeming with the dangerous Rakno’s forces, new suit powers and new suit skins to discover and equip.

Review – Vaas – Insanity
Vaas – Insanity is the first of three DLC to be released for Far Cry 6, and it dives head first in to a depiction of the mind of the very memorable and equally as unhinged villain of Far Cry 3, Vaas. Vaas – Insanity takes place after Vaas’ death at the hands of Jason Brody in Far Cry 3, and the player must find a way out, with some encouragement of his disagreeable sister, Citra.
As DLC go, Far Cry’s of past have left player’s somewhat disappointed, however Vaas – Insanity has taken a step in the right direction in terms of value for content. While its completion is quite short, it does not have to be, and it rewards completionists with a number of items that can be used within Far Cry 6’s main game.
