The Weekend Wrap

Welcome to 2022 Gamers, hopefully, this is the year of tonnes of releases and no major delays. This is the first Weekend Wrap for 2022 and sadly it’s quite lacking, mostly because the gaming world is enjoying their Christmas/ New Year break like we here at OMG hoped you did.

As always let’s start it out with what you missed in the last week with the OMG Week that Was

The Week That Was

Here at OMG, we have all the news and announcements from the past week in one spot. There was some big news, PlayStation has shown off the specs for their PSVR 2 and boy are we impressed. Xbox has also announced the next game coming to Game Pass and that Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Extraction will be day one on Game Pass.  While we have no reviews this week, you can catch up with them all. To finish off we have 8 0f this week’s newest trailers including Horizon Call of the Mountain, Uncharted movie scene, Pokémon Legends and lots more.  Join us for the week that was.

You may be interested to know that Dying Light 2 Stay Human will take around 500 hours for 100% completion according to the teams socials.

Rainbow Six Extraction – Three Player Co-Op

With just under two weeks until the release of Rainbow Six Extraction on January 20, the Ubisoft News team is bringing you a live gameplay preview of the tactical, three-player co-op shooter. Tune in to see the Operators, gadgets, and loadouts that have been specifically tuned to meet the ever-evolving Archaean threat. The challenge mounts with every subzone they enter; will they make it out alive and bank their progression, or go MIA trying to earn even bigger rewards?”

“Rainbow Six Extraction is launching on January 20 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Amazon Luna, Stadia, and the Ubisoft Store on PC, as well as via Ubisoft+. It will also be available through Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass on launch day.”
