Welcome to the Daily Download for Thursday December 30th, 2021. Hope everyone is enjoying the holidays, but there is still some news to catch up on! Don’t miss our votes for OMG Game of the Year 2021 – Best Story, DLC and Adventure, January’s free PS titles announced and a Sonic Lego set.

Best Story, DLC and Adventure title for 2021

Over the next 12 days, we, (the OMG crew) are announcing our games of the year for 2021 in 32 categories. These games have been nominated, categorised, and discussed by those behind the scenes here. We do acknowledge that not everyone’s favourite 2021 games are on our lists, as unfortunately we are not able to play and review every game that comes to console.

PlayStation Plus January Lineup

PlayStation are starting the New Year’s celebrations off early with the announcement of the trio of PlayStation Plus games you’ll be able to enjoy on Tuesday, January 4. Available to add to your game library until Tuesday, February 1 are Dirt 5, Deep Rock Galactic and Persona 5 Strikers

One More Game

Review - Tunic

Tunic is an isometric action-adventure game developed by Andrew Shouldice and published by Finji. Inspired by the classic Legend of Zelda games, Tunic puts you in the shoes of a fox in a, you guessed it, tunic and plops you on a beach to start your adventure in this strange yet familiar world. The similarities to early Zelda games are evident throughout the experience, almost to a fault. The combat, audio and world all take different inspirations from the series.

Development has begun on a new Witcher game, Suicide Squad - Kill the Justice League is officially delayed and Gamesradar host a Futures Game's Show.
