OMG and Community Games of the Year Results Part 1

OMG – Best Multiplatform Game

Doom Eternal – PS4, Switch and Xbox One

ID have developed their best DOOM to date, solidifying why the franchise has remained so popular for nearly three decades. It’s bigger, better and bolder in every way. For fans and newcomers alike, DOOM Eternal is an enjoyable, action packed experience that is gruesomely satisfying. For our full review, click here.

Community – Best Multiplatform Game

Cyberpunk 2077 – PS5 and Xbox Series X|S*

Cyperpunk 2077 is the most ambitious game of its time. CD Projekt Red put their hearts and souls into this project, wanting to immerse players like they have never been immersed before. It is perfect in its story telling, being the main or sub plots, dialogue, character progression and creates a grand playpen in Night City. It does have its issues though with poor driving mechanics and more importantly those launch bugs on that list. Overall, if you are a player that is looking for an open-world roleplaying adventure that has a mature and thought-provoking story, with satisfying combat and player progression, you cannot do better than Cyberpunk 2077. * Note that our Cyberpunk nominations are for the Series X|S and PS5 versions. We have not reviewed the base console version or currently endorse those versions.

OMG – Best First Person Shooter

Community – Best First Person Shooter

The community and OMG agree and Doom Enteral takes out it’s second OMG Game of the Year award.

OMG – Best Sequel

Community – Best Sequel

The Last of Us Part 2 – PS4

The community and OMG agree again!

The Last of Us: Part II is brutal, violent, confronting and at times just outright depressing. The world that has been established is in a league of its own, brought to life by characters and performances that are phenomenal, engaging and genuinely interesting. Such an emotionally driven, highly cinematic and interactive experience is a once in a generation feat to pull off but it is one that Naughty Dog have masterfully accomplished. Cyberpunk 2077 Winner

Congratulations to Dylan H on winning a copy of Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4|5. We appreciate your and everyone else that voted support.
