Gearbox Showcase
Gearbox today brought us a 30 minute show as part of their E3 2021 showcase which was run in true tongue-in-cheek Borderlands style. The show kicked off with a look at the Borderlands Movie set including a chat with the cast and crew of the game with Randy Pitchford. From there it was straight into the games which were showcased as follows:
Homeworld 3 – In production
If you blinked, you may have missed it but Homeworld 3 is in production. Blackbird Interactive will be working with Gearbox on this one and a few other teasers dropped throughout the show.

Tiny Tina Wonderlands – Early 2022
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands was next and after showcasing the previously released trailer, the team then jumped into a detailed talk about the game, the universe and more.
Tribes of Midgard – 27th July – PS4/PS5 and Steam
We were then shown a trailer and developer talk for Rise of Midgard which gave gamers an insight into the upcoming game. Pre-order now for in-game bonuses at launch.
Godfall: Fire & Darkness – 10th August – PS5, Epic Game Store and full game to PS4
Next up was Godfall which showcased the new content to come to the game in the form of Fire & Darkness, which will include the free Lightbringer update. The game will also be coming to the PS4 on the same day. This day is the 10th August. As with each of the games, the dev-team jumped in and had a chat about the new additions to the game as well.
The show ended the same way as it began, with a look on set at the Borderlands Movie and Randy Pitchford chatted with Kevin Hart who will be playing Roland in the movie.
