Ubisoft’s newest production, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, is an immersive open world experience about the Vikings of the 9th century A.D. Cyberpunk 2077 – PS5 and Xbox Series X|S*

Cyperpunk 2077 is the most ambitious game of its time. CD Projekt Red put their hearts and souls into this project, wanting to immerse players like they have never been immersed before. It is perfect in its story telling, being the main or sub plots, dialogue, character progression and creates a grand playpen in Night City. It does have its issues though with poor driving mechanics and more importantly those launch bugs on that list. Overall, if you are a player that is looking for an open-world roleplaying adventure that has a mature and thought-provoking story, with satisfying combat and player progression, you cannot do better than Cyberpunk 2077. Demon’s Souls – PS5

Demon’s Souls is a game that tests the most patient of gamers and stays true to its origin. The world and the characters in it, though harrowing, are very beautiful to look at and completing the many challenging, but fair tasks in Demon’s Souls is a very rewarding feeling. It is not at all for the faint of heart and I imagine the global death-count is astronomical, although I highly recommend everyone try it, especially fans of the genre. Click here for our full review.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot – PS4 and Xbox One

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is the most expansive experiment in terms of overall experience we have had in a Dragon Ball game to date. With deep RPG gameplay layered among its fighting roots, this is definitely a must play for both die hard DBZ fans and a perfect place to start for newcomers. There is a solid foundation here that the planned DLC can expand upon and possible sequels can easily tap into the treasure trove of mythology, characters and stories that have spawned from Dragon Ball Z. I am not certain this overall experience is what I expected but it is one I am certainly satisfied with. Click here for our full review.

Ghost of Tsushima – PS4

Overall Ghost of Tsushima is a masterstroke of art, gameplay and open world exploration. This is a game to be savoured like a fine wine aged to perfection. Do not rush through this, as there is so much to see on this island of Tsushima. The story is perfectly placed and toned throughout as the Samurai who becomes a hero of the island and like Jin, this game is a legend. Sucker Punch should be extremely proud of this PS4 exclusive. Wasteland 3 – PS4 and Xbox One

Wasteland 3 will keep the player continually thinking but at the same time having a lot of fun. The deep storyline relies on secondary mission playthroughs and exploration, encountering new colourful characters along the way. Decisions during the player’s journey and the effects on gameplay makes each playthrough their own and they will find themselves playing through more than the once. For our full review, click here.

Yakuza: Like A Dragon – Xbox One and Series XS

Yakuza: Like A Dragon is a refreshing restart on an established and well-liked game series, it has more than enough to keep the players who have played previous Yakuza games happy, whilst also bringing in new players who have never played this series before. The game performs well on the Xbox One X whilst it leaps to another level when played on the Xbox Series X, which will make players truly appreciate the work that the developers from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and SEGA have put into the game as it plays.
