Xbox have shown off and announced the price for its mini fridge, plus announced a strong line up of games coming to Game Pass. Sadly they’re a number of delays announced. Xbox Series X Mini Fridge Preorders Underway
The Xbox Series X Mini Fridge preorders are open on the 19th of December but not for Australia just yet.
“ The mini-fridge, created in partnership with Ukonic!, gives “Xbox and Chill” a whole new meaning. With LEDs and surface features made to resemble the Xbox Series X, your friends will be amazed while their thirst is quenched! The sleek matte-black tower holds up to 12 cans of your favourite beverage and has two shelves in the door, so you’ll be sure to have your favourite snacks at the ready. The front of the mini-fridge also includes a USB port to charge devices and comes with a DC power adapter to enable the mini-fridge to work on the go.”

Elden Ring – Closed Network Play Test and Delay
ELDEN RING is getting a closed network play test and if you register before 1 November you could be in with a chance to join that test.

The ELDEN RING team have announced that the game will require some extra time and have moved the launch date back to the 25th February 2022 as per their statement below.
“ ELDEN RING will release on Feb 25, 2022, as the depth & strategic freedom of the game exceeded initial expectations. Thank you for your trust & patience. We look forward to seeing you experience the game in the Closed Network Test in Nov.”
We’re more than happy for the developers to do what they need to do to help deliver their vision.

Riders Republic Trial Week
Riders Republic is getting a trial week in the lead up to launch and what’s even better is that the progress from the trail will carry through to the full game.
Players can play 4 hours of the game in the preparation for launch.
The trial will run from the 21st to 27th October.

Xbox 20th Anniversary Celebration
As part of the 20th Anniversary celebrations, Xbox are putting in a digital show on the 15th November.
“We invite you to join us on Nov. 15 to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Xbox and Halo with a fun, digital broadcast for fans around the globe. While we won’t announce any new games, this anniversary broadcast will be a special look back at 20 years of Xbox. We’ll share more details soon, so stay tuned.”

Cyberpunk 2077 Next Gen update
It would appear that both the Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt next-gen updates have been delayed.
Let’s hope that these delays are both worth it for the better.
Shredders Delay
Shredders is the next game to receive a delay and to be pushed back into February.
Looks like gamers are going to have to balance time in February 2022 as the month is stacked at the moment.

Review – Metroid Dread
Metroid Dread, a MercurySteam production with Nintendo EPD, is a love letter to the series in both being a conclusion to Samus’s story and the picturesque world and exquisite gameplay that surrounds it. From the different biomes and the living worlds in each one, Boss fights that make you think about each step, a new enemy in the Extraplanetary Multiform Mobile Identifier (E.M.M.I.) robots to avoid and dispatch, to the sound and art of each part and the fact that this adventure can be experienced both on the go and in a dock at home makes it a title that is second to none.

Review – Far Cry 6
Far Cry 6 is one of those games that can be loaded up any time of day with confidence and a good time will be had. The sixth in the series, excluding the many spin-offs over the years, Ubisoft made the decision to travel to the Caribbean Island of Yara, making a return to the tropical paradise theme of its predecessors while very much staying true to the core of what makes a Far Cry experience truly fun.
Far Cry 6 has the player take on the role of Dani Rojas, an ex-military Yaran who falls short of escaping the country and ends up fighting alongside a Guerrilla resistance in hopes of toppling the regime of Yara’s evil dictator Antón Castillo, voiced by the fantastic Giancarlo Esposito, who is known for many roles including that of Gus Fring in Breaking Bad.
