E3 is that wonderful time of year where we would all be sorting fact from fiction, avoiding spoilers and leaks and getting ready for a number of early starts. While the Covid-19 pandemic has ruined plans for a physical return to the LA convention centre this year, developers are still excited to share their upcoming projects.
E3 returns June 12th to 15th, but this time in a different form and embracing a four-day long video stream, with an all-virtual event showcasing the best future projects in the video gaming industry.
Both E3 Expo and Summer Games Fest are backed by some of the biggest to newest and hottest names in gaming. See our full rundown of these events and some pre and post shows. Book mark and follow this page as we update and recap each event as it happens.
Guerrilla Collective Day 1 – Sunday June 6th

Battlefield 2042 Revealed
The next Battlefield was revealed as Battlefield 2042 and sees a fully multiplayer approach to the upcoming title. Little details were revealed but what we do know is that the game will support up to 128 player games, bring new game modes, world altering events and the fan-favourite destructible environments. Gearbox have recently announced their involvement in the E3 Expo for 2021 and saw games like Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands and Godfall. Here’s our recap for your perusal.
Microsoft/Bethesda – Monday 14th June

All eyes will be on the Microsoft and their newest development teams. In this 90 minute presentation we expect Halo Infinite and some exciting Game Pass Announcement but we would love some surprises and gameplay of Hellblade 2 and some showing of Starfield.

The stream will include exciting news from:

Sadly the Warner Brothers have confirmed with tech radar that their event will solely focus on Back 4 Blood, leaving fans disappointed at not expecting Hogwarts Legacy, Gotham Knights or Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League at the event.
PC Gamer Show – Monday 14th June
