Xbox Cloud Gaming launches on Consoles

The next big set forward in cloud gaming happens today as Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can now utilise the a cloud gaming service from their Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles.

“Now you can discover and try lots of different titles quickly right from the cloud until you land on the one you may want to also install — which is still the flagship experience for Xbox consoles. In addition to that, getting a game invite from a friend for a game you haven’t downloaded yet is no longer going to stop you from joining right away! We’ve built it so the experience is fast, easy, and a great way to discover your next favorite game while saving space on your hard drive for the games you plan to play again and again.

For Xbox One users, cloud gaming also allows you to play some next-gen games on the Xbox One console you already own. This means select games that are currently only playable on Xbox Series X|S, like Recompile, The Medium, and The Riftbreaker, are now playable on your Xbox One with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and cloud gaming.”

OMG Reviews and Stories

Review – My Friend Peppa Pig

From the very beginning of My Friend Peppa Pig it is nearly impossible to tell the difference between this video game and the uber-popular children’s animated series. Presented as an open adventure that doesn’t force the player in any one direction with the wide variety of activities and interactions is largely available immediately. Aside from a handful of story driven cinematics and associated events, the interactive experience is presented in a manner that truly represents player freedom and exploration at their own pace.

Review – PJ Masks: Heroes of the Night

Catboy, Owlette and Gekko make the heroic leap from the PJ Masks animated television series to video game adaptation in PJ Masks: Heroes of the Night. Featuring eight locations such as the city, park, mountains and even the moon across 16 stages, the mighty pyjama suit-wearing mini heroes bring their powers and wits to thwart the dastardly plans of Romeo, Luna Girl and Night Ninja.

Review – Stranded Deep (Nintendo Switch)

Assuming the role of a lone plane crash survivor, Stranded Deep wastes no time thrusting the player into its dynamic and procedurally generated world consisting of a network of islands in the Pacific Ocean. Emerging from the wreckage to a sea of flames the player is knocked out from an explosion and wakes near an inflatable raft drifting off the coast of an island with nothing but a handful of rations and a compass to begin their ultimate test… survive.

Review – Tandem: A Tale of Shadows

Tandem: A Tale of Shadows is a puzzle-platform adventure set in Victorian London that is as full of clever puzzle designs and constantly introduced new mechanics. Playing as Emma and her newfound teddy bear companion Fenton, the vanishing of a young boy named Thomas Kane drives the pair forward into his family mansion to find him.
