Winner – MLB: The Show 21
MLB: The Shows first outing on Xbox is a good one and one that long tine PlayStation fans will continue to enjoy. The large number of game modes will cater for those looking for a quick game or two through to someone looking to fully master this simulator. With the full range of customisable controls, it’s easy enough for most players to pick up and play but will require some dedication in order to master. This is definitely a game to play if you are a baseball or sports game fan. If you are a veteran fan or have a Game Pass Ultimate subscription then you really step up to the plate and give it go while it’s available. 8/10 – Reviewed by Anth, review found here.

Riders Republic is the latest extreme sports game from the creators of Steep and the team have taken what they learned on board to create this experience. It is a full package of adrenaline fuelled mayhem that will have anyone wanting to throw themselves over the edge all in the name of fun. The world is vast, the events are plentiful, and the scenery and soundtrack are a great match to the environment on offer and while the campaign does not stand out, it adds a bit of context to what the player is doing and why. While not a big thing, the addition of matchmaking as a third option for all events would be nice but if the community grabs hold of this game, it will be a non-issue. This is a game that anyone could just grab and get into for a casual ride or something more extreme. 9/10 – Reviewed by XBGD Matt, review found here.

Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown is a fantastic fighting game with such in depth combo’s to be mastered with each unique fighter. It is very competitive in nature and any fans of the genre are mad to miss out on this one. For player’s less fond of the fighting genre, this might not be the one to pick up and play as there is not a whole lot of content to be enjoyed for a casual. 7/10 – Reviewed by Brando, review found here.
