Postal Redux – Nintendo Switch

Postal Redux is funny game to review in 2020, while I am not surprised it has come to consoles, I am amazed that this R18+ title came to the family friendly Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, the game looks and plays like it was from 1997 and seems to still rely on its transgression status. The lack of a story is a misstep and the soft lock aiming is too inconsistent to keep the gameplay flowing. It does include extra content and the Switch does provide a new way for fans and newcomers to play at a cheap price. Overall, Postal Redux is a hard sell in 2020, while it does have a strong cult like following, the twin-stick action just does not hold up to its counterparts. Click here for our full review.

Remothered: Broken Porcelain – PS4 and Xbox One

In Remothered: Broken Porcelain there were many times I was on the edge of my seat and when a stalker would appear I was frantically fighting for my life.  The dark environments, suspenseful soundtrack and all around feeling will keep the player on edge enough to jump on the drop of a pin. Remothered: Broken Porcelain does lack hand holding gameplay which can be a blessing for purists but become frustrating others, making it more challenging as I was constantly scratching my head on how to move forward. There amount of bugs and glitches while hilarious is concerning, as it pulls the player from the experience. Click here for our full review.

Street Power Football – PS4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One

A major issue with most of Street Power Football game modes is that they have no longevity. All modes, especially Freestyle and Trickshot feel like they belong on a tablet and phone at a cheap price, but currently this game is $79 on the Xbox Game Store and JB HiFi. If there was not for the serviceable versus mode, I could not see myself playing this more than an hour or two at most. Sports arcade games are meant to fast, furious and fun, sadly the only f word I can say about this game is that it is a complete fail. Click here for our full review.
